Our ITAD Process

Asset collection & inventory: Every device collected and logged with its serial number, asset tag, and storage capacity.
Data sanitisation: HDDs and SSDs are wiped using DoD 5220.22-M standard overwrites or cryptographic erasure, with per-device certificates.
Physical destruction: Drives that cannot be reliably wiped (e.g., damaged media) are physically shredded using our industrial degausser and shredder.
R2/ISO 14001-aligned disposal: Remaining hardware components are disposed of via responsible e-waste recycling partners, minimising environmental impact.
Certificate of Data Destruction: A formal POPIA-compliant certificate issued for each device, detailing the sanitisation method applied and the date of destruction.
